An Unforgettable Company Dinner at Agave We recently hosted a large company dinner at Agave Restaurant in Atlanta, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal. From the start, working with Chef Jack Sobel, the owner and chef, was a true pleasure. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made planning effortless and enjoyable. The staff was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and incredibly well-coordinated throughout the evening. They made our entire group feel welcome and ensured everything ran smoothly. And the food? Simply amazing. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Agave’s cozy, southwestern ambiance and top-tier service made this a night to remember. Not sure why it took me so long to finally come to Agave, but boy am I glad I did Tuesday night. The food was amazing, I had the Pork Chop with Brussels sprouts and roasted potatoes, and ate every bite. My girlfriend got the shrimp and grits with sausage and I helped finish hers. The skinny margaritas were also delicious, especially with the Tajin rim. The atmosphere was really cool inside as well as they had a live band playing and some sort of event in the front area of the bar. The folks at the door were super welcoming and friendly. Valet service was a nice touch as well, quick and easy, Bennet did a great job out there getting everyone in and out. Totally forgot to take pictures cause everything looked so good and I dove right in, can’t wait to be back for more!!!! My wife and I went to agave, we had a good time and enjoyable meal. I had the Wagyu burger, my wife had the lamb chops. We both shared the scrimp and lobster enchiladas. Came here for my birthday dinner with my husband. They offer a free valet parking lot with tips encouraged. The valet guy and everyone in the restaurant was very kind and even the manager was walking around and checking on people. I was not a huge fan of the location or the Atmosphere, it was a tad cold but the food and service make up for all of that. We ordered the scallops, tostitos, and surf and turf. The chips and sauce was good and fresh. The others plates were tasty. I was not a fan of the grits with the scallops and the collards greens were a but sweet for me but I loved the scallops. A true GEM of Atlanta. My family & I have been here at least 20 times in the last 2 years. We have NEVER been disappointed. ALWAYS amazing service, food & atmosphere. 10/10 recommend to any & everyone. From in town or out— this is an ALL TIME top 5 recommendation of mine. Even when my 3 year old spills a drink 2 times in one sitting, they help her with a smile, new drink & new napkin. Our kids usually get tired of frequenting the same places but they NEVER complain about coming here. The kid meals are HUGE & cheap. Absolutely delicious & sometime more food that what I order me lol!

I was quite underwhelmed by the food at agave. The service we received was amazing and we were seated fairly quickly for a party of 6 on a Friday night with no reservations. While valet parking is offered, my party decided to self park on the back side of the parking area. I had the Fried Chicken and while it was good, it wasn’t anything amazing. My party decided to share 2 appetizers. The quesadilla didn’t have much flavor but it was pretty filling. The spring rolls were cooked well but required the pepper jelly to carry the flavor. Someone else in my party ordered dishes that came with Mac and cheese and it was mushy. However, the collard greens were really tasty. The steak dishes were done pretty well but once again, the accompaniments like the onion rings needed work. I’m not sure if I’d personally visit again because the meal was so lack luster. I think it could be a nice place to stop by for quick appetizers but I would definitely consider other options first.
